He has an experience of over 4 decades as a leading International Trade Consultant, Speaker & Trainer to several well-known Listed & Private Companies, MNCs, Industry Federations, B-Schools, Banks & Training Centers, Export-promotion Councils & Foreign Bodies. Exim Institute has imparted education to 5500+ students. He believes that conceptual clarity is uppermost in understanding in any process.

Environmental Sustainability is his passion. He has chosen to impart knowledge in this area to a wider audience as climate change has far-reaching consequences on businesses, livelihoods, domestic and international trade.

He has in excess of 25 years experience in the Energy Industry. He plays pivotal role in contributing to India's progression towards Circular Economy working with the government officials as well as Private sector. He is globally renowned and recognized expert in the global value chain of downstream and currently he advises some of the best Energy companies globally. He is a much sought-after speaker, having participated in various ICIS and other international conferences of Petroleum, Base oils, Lubricants and RRBO. 

Shailendra has in excess of 29 years experience in the Lubricants industry. Shailendra has to his credit consultancy assignments with Energy Major like PETRONAS, ENOC, Infineum, BP/Castrol, Brenntag, HPCL, Morris, Gulf Oil, Lanxess, Shell,Total and few MNCs. He is an external advisor to Boston Consulting Group ( BCG).

Dr. Sodhi has a diversified experience in leading and implementing projects in a wide range of areas – plastic waste management to climate change, natural resources, land development to livelihoods of poor, and marginalized in the tribal, rural and urban spaces for the last 40 years. He has been working experience with multiple donors in the space of Circular Economy (plastics) –like Coca Cola, Hindustan Unilever Limited, HDFC Bank & Nyara Energy. He is a passionate, open and reflective individual.

Mr. Sodhi has written ‘LOW CARBON LIFESTYLES’ which was released in COP20 in 2015 in Paris by the Hon’ble Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Prakash Javdekar, Government of India.
